Watch your mouth. How many times did my parents say that to me? A primary indicator of respect (or disrespect) is the way we speak to or about one another. It’s difficult to take back what we say. Our words affect the cultural climate. We are in a contentious political season. Many people are quick to express disapproval, even disgust, with one another; especially on social media. We have the ability to shape the culture by guarding what we say.
