Counterfeits are dangerous. Counterfeit currency undermines the economic structure of a nation by substituting “funny money” for the real thing. Counterfeit manhood is a menace because it corrupts the soul of a culture. We live in dangerous times in large part because men don’t know how to live like real men. We have opted to circulate a counterfeit concept of manhood. That’s why we need once again to examine the meaning of real manhood in a world of counterfeits.
